SEFFNER, FL — A 24-year-old Tampa woman who drove her Hyundai Elantra at 111 mph and crashed it into a Seffner dealership Saturday faces multiple charges, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
An FHP trooper clocked Jennifer Carvajal's car at 111 mph on Interstate-4 eastbound near Mango Road. As the sergeant tried to pull her over, she made a hard right turn and hit the embankment by the interstate. The car flew over a fence and crashed into a Ford pickup truck at Gator Ford, according to authorities. After it smashed into the truck, the car hit a concrete light pole and then a palm tree before it overturned in the dealership's parking lot.
Investigators said two of the passengers, a 22-year-old and 20-year-old, were thrown from the vehicle, and a 19-year-old passenger was thrown from the front passenger seat to the backseat. Carvajal stayed in the driver seat.
Carvajal was arrested on the following charges, according to FHP:

The 19-year-old and 20-year-old suffered serious injuries. Carvajal experienced minor injuries.
