Description

BALTIMORE COUNTY, MD — A Verizon outage took the 311 number offline in Baltimore County Tuesday morning for several hours, according to officials. Baltimore County government asked people not to call 911 for issues that were not emergencies when the 311 first went offline before 7:30 a.m. Tuesday. Officials cited a "regional Verizon outage" as the problem. The 311 line is used for non-emergencies. At noon, authorities said the issue was resolved, and 311 service had been restored. Due to a regional Verizon outage, all 311 lines for Baltimore County are currently down. We request your patience as we await resolution of this issue. Please do not call 911 for non-emergency issues.— Baltimore County (@BaltCoGov) April 27, 2021
