Myers Restaurant Supply, LLC, a division of Edward Don, a Leading National Foodservice Equipment and Design Company has an immediate opening for a Quality Assurance Specialist. Our warehouse is rapidly growing, fast paced, focused, and exciting. We are looking for a self-motivated individual who has the ability to multi-task, enjoys a friendly, supportive and social environment. GENERAL SUMMARY: Accountable for ensuring that all shipped product quality exceeds our customers’ expectations. Perform the primary responsibility of efficient and accurate order pulling. Physical requirements include walking, reaching, bending, stooping, pushing, pulling, and climbing a ladder. Other requirements include strong reading comprehension. Perform other duties as assigned. Primarily responsible for prepping and examining commercial foodservice equipment in accordance with established work policies and procedures. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: • Maintain a positive attitude and support the morale of your team members • Uncrate, prep equipment, and build dry storage/walk-in box shelving units • Attach and/or mount accessories to equipment by use of power tools • Securely apply special company-branded labels to most equipment • Inspect for damage (cosmetic + mechanical) report your findings to the Logistics and/or Warehouse Coordinator • Unload and receive product safely manually or with equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks • Lift up to 75 lbs.+ with support from the team • Use of a cutting knife to open cartons, read packing slips, and count items • Verify actual product with packing slips and purchase orders as required while confirming product integrity • Break down product and palletize for transfer, loading, or shipment as necessary • Assist warehouse staff with daily order pulling, customer pick-ups, project staging, and project loading, as needed • Frequent daily “hot runs” of equipment and/or smallwares transfers from W9 to the main store and vice versa • Occasional equipment delivery support as needed • Actively maintain a clean, organized warehouse Resume required for consideration Full time employees enjoy generous benefits including medical, dental, vision and 401(K), as well as earned paid sick, vacation time, and holidays.
