We’re looking for an experienced landscaper to support our lead foreman. The ideal candidate has solid landscape installation experience and equally important, strong organization skills. The position is 4 days/week at $22 per hour. SKILLS: · working knowledge of soil preparation, irrigation installations, basic hardscaping and organic pest control and fertilizers · Familiarity with irrigation systems · Strong attention to detail · "Can-do" attitude and willingness to pitch in wherever needed; we’re a small but highly efficient company where we all wear many hats · Professional, friendly and respectful attitude; you may interact with clients, directly impacting their impression of the company · Writing and computer skills for sending emails and texts to our clients and other staff and for recording detailed notes using Google Docs · Knowledge of tools and materials used in landscape installation EXPERIENCE AND REQUIREMENTS: · 2+ years landscape installation experience, knowledge of organic gardening practices is a plus · Must have a CA driver’s license and regular access to a working vehicle (we are based in the East Bay, but have clients throughout the Bay Area) · Working cell phone (smart phone/iPhone a definite plus) · Computer (for documents that are too detailed to access/edit on a mobile device) · Ability to lift 45 lbs.
