Please respond by email only and include YOUR NAME and contact PHONE NUMBER QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED: • Ability to read and comprehend construction plans • Clean driving record and CDL • Ability to plan ahead, schedule deliveries of materials and track labor hours • A broad understanding of Planting, Drainage, and Irrigation JOB DESCRIPTION: • Assist in clearing and grubbing • Hand grading • Digging plant holes • Trench and clean trenches • Glue pipe (mandatory) • Run irrigation control wires • Backfill and cover pipe • Keep job sites clear and clean and perform a variety of other functions when requested MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Education: High school diploma or GED preferred, but not required. Experience: 1-3 Years Landscape Construction Experience min., pay based on experience. Language skills: Ability to communicate effectively in English or Spanish. Math skills: Basic math skills preferred, but not required. Physical requirements: Ability to lift, pull and push up to 50-80 lbs., carry materials, bend, twist, kneel, climb, and balance. Ability to walk at a brisk pace and work in a kneeling position for extended periods of time. Ability to work in the rain and in extreme temperatures. Ability to withstand dust, pollens and gas fumes on a daily basis. Other: Ability to understand and follow oral instructions. Ability to arrive on time to work and to work an 8-hour day. Ability to provide own transportation to and from the job site, or to and from the office if assigned to ride a company vehicle to the job site. Ability to respond appropriately to supervisors and co-workers. Although typical workdays are Mon-Fri, must be able to work the occasional weekend shift. MUST BE HARDWORKING INDIVIDUAL WITH STRONG WORK ETHIC. RESPONSIBILITIES: Demonstrate behavior in accordance with the Company's mission statement.
