We are an experienced and growing general contracting firm focused on high-end remodels, additions and custom homes serving San Francisco’s South Bay and surrounding areas. Established in 2008, our office is located in Morgan Hill. We are seeking a motivated self-starter with experience in on-site management and a site supervisor skill-set in custom residential construction. The position will be responsible for leading site projects through effective team leadership including directing his/her team and be able to appropriately communicate with subcontractors, design professionals and clients. Responsibilities • Coordinate and supervise all employees & sub-contractors on the project site to ensure the project is complete. • Ensure job sites are clean, meet COVID protocol and are secure on a daily basis. • Perform consistent on-site monitoring and quality control functions; manages and resolves punch lists and potential issues and problems. • Adhere to and maintains construction schedule and tracking system to track and report all phases of project; regularly reports on status of projects using Buildertrend platform. • Possess and maintain thorough knowledge of OSHA requirements; implements OSHA guidelines and programs; enforces established safety guidelines and promotes a safe workplace. • Maintain positive relationship with customers, sub-contractors, suppliers, inspectors and employees. • Display problem solving skills. Documents all project issues that arise and convey these issues to the Project Manager with a proposed fix. • Proactively communicates with team at set intervals including identifying and relaying any issues or changes in regards to the completion of the project. • Post and maintains ownership of site permits. • Must be present for inspections. • Pick up lumber and other materials needed for job site with the exception of customer selections. • Conduct all work in a professional manner with utmost integrity and respect for others while meeting company cultural standards. Qualifications • Owns own vehicle and basic tools; management to provide specialty/additional tools as needed. • Must be organized, detail oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks/projects. • Proficient with email, cell phone and text management. • Bi-lingual highly preferred but not necessary. • Able to communicate effectively with management, design professionals, project team, clients and subcontractors. • Knowledge of materials, methods, and the tools involved in the construction or repair of residential construction projects. • Knowledge of all aspects of construction management, business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, leadership technique, production methods, and coordination of people and resources. • Strong ability to read blueprints, specifications and related construction documentation. Education and Experience • 5-10 years of experience as construction on-site Superintendant or Project Manager. • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Apple platform and Google apps (calendar, email, etc.). • Experience with DropBox and Buildertrend (preferred) • Experience in building very high-end residential projects preferred.
