HOWARD COUNTY, MD — Residents can pop by one of two COVID-19 vaccine clinics planned for Tuesday at Howard Community College's athletics and fitness center from 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and at the North Laurel Community Center from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Walk-ups are accepted while supplies last. Both clinics are for the first dose of the Moderna vaccine, which has been designated for those age 18 and older.
On Wednesday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., the COVID-19 vaccine will be administered at the Meadowbrook Athletic Complex by appointment only.

As of April 27, there are 18,814 coronavirus cases in Howard County. Slightly more than half of the county's residents have received their first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine while 37 percent are fully vaccinated.
