Press release from the City of Paducah: April 26, 2021 Due to an unexpected equipment issue, the City of Paducah Compost Facility located at 1560 North 8th Street will be closed to the public today and tomorrow (April 26-27). The Facility is operated by the Public Works Department. The regular operating schedule for the Compost Facility is Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. until 3 p.m. The Facility accepts brush, leaves, and yard debris from Paducah residents at no charge. Compost and wood chips are available for purchase by the bucket load. An approximately two-yard bucket load of compost costs $20.
