Newcastle has several openings for a Seasonal Maintenance Worker. The Seasonal Maintenance Worker position works up to 4 or 6 months duration, typically Monday – Friday 7:00 am – 3:30 pm, occasionally some weekends or evening hours may be required. The work will primarily consist of parks maintenance or vegetation control and will work outdoors in all types of weather. The position may also perform recurring maintenance of Parks, Stormwater, City Facilities, Streets and Events. Duties must frequently be accomplished independently with intermittent supervision.
