Apex Railing Solutions, LLC located in Seattle's South Park neighborhood, is a metal fabrication shop specializing in the design, fabrication and installation of superior-quality metal and glass guardrail & handrail systems. Our clients are residential homeowners, homebuilders and general contractors in the greater Seattle, Puget Sound region. Are you a team player who can work well on a team but also work independently? Do you love working with your hands to build things? If so, we might have the job for you! We are looking for a Railing Installer to join our team. In this position, you use your talent to not only install our railing systems in residential and commercial environments, but also work directly with our clients to insure we are meeting their expectations. Candidates for this position should possess or have an aptitude to perform the following: • Installation experience in residential and commercial construction environments • Strong attention to detail • Strong problem solving skills • Ability to adapt and be flexible • Great communication skills • Ability to read and interpret shop drawings • Proven ability to work with a variety of common tools, including but not limited to: tape measures, cordless drills & impact drivers, chop saws, core drills, and grinders • Ability to carry out precise measuring, assembly and installation tasks on schedule • Strong ability to maintain a safe and organized jobsite • Ability to work in teams and independently • Fabrication skills in a shop environment a plus • Possess safe work habits in residential and commercial construction environments • Ability to work comfortably and safely in high places • Ability to work a flexible schedule as needed • Fitness ability to lift/carry heavy objects up to 50 lbs. as needed • Good driving record with a valid Washington State Driver License • Reliable transportation to get to work • Received at least one Covid-19 vaccine dose with second dose scheduled • Must pass a drug and background test Benefits: Apex offers a competitive wage (DOE), a tool allowance, 100% paid medical/ dental/vision insurance for its Team Members, paid holidays, vacation & sick time, cell phone allowance, free parking, etc.
