Superintendent - Residential Construction Our client, a Seattle/Eastside Residential Real Estate Developer, is seeking a Construction Superintendent. This person will manage the coordination of all on-site construction activities and supervision of all field personnel to complete production homes and townhomes. You will work on assigned projects by following the Schedule, Specifications, Safety Requirements, and Industry Quality Standards. Duties and Responsibilities of the Superintendent: • Complete understanding of the construction process. • Develop a good working relationship with the customers and vendors/suppliers. • Maintains construction schedule, daily job logs, identifies and solves problems. • Promotes job site safety, encourages safe work practices. • Ensures all company employees and contractors are adhering to the company safety policy. Monitor the on-site functions to oversee all aspects of the construction process. • Monitor site cleanliness and hold the subcontractors responsible for daily clean-up. • Document progress and generate requests for information to the project manager and architect if needed. • Directs all field personnel to achieve completion of the project on schedule and within budget. • Communicate sub-contractor cost variance, and maintain records of the total costs for materials bought and payments for work done. • Foster positive relationships with customers, contractors, suppliers, and other employees. Qualifications • Minimum 5 years of successful Project Superintendent experience with a production residential builder. • Experienced in scheduling, ordering, field supervision, quality control, and production of all phases of residential construction. • Experienced in managing multiple projects. • CESL and OSHA 10 Certifications Required. • Must have experience with scheduling software – Buildertrend preferred. • Experience with basic Microsoft Software (Outlook, Excel, Word)
