Bassist Seeks Classic Country

Howdy, I'm an experienced electric bassist, late 30s, with a good ear, an encyclopedic knowledge of classic country, and pro gear. I'm hoping to find other serious, experienced musicians interested in playing classic country (1950-1985) or country-tinged Americana (think Dylan, Zevon, Gillian Welch, Linda Ronstadt, Neko Case). I live on Capitol Hill in Seattle, and my goal is to practice regularly and gig locally. I'm open to playing either covers or originals, although my preference is to play classic country standards. (For example, I'd be happy to play nothing but Merle Haggard covers.) Pre-pandemic, there was an active country dance scene in Ballard, and hopefully that'll come back starting this summer. Let me know if you're an experienced singer, guitarist, drummer, pedal steel player, fiddler, etc., and you're interested in a project like this. I can send along a video-audio sample of myself playing bass, and it would be great if you have samples of your playing, too.
