As events start to open, we are looking for event sales people for primarily electronic music events, and possibly other events. The ideal candidates will be familiar with the "scene" in the area, and have established connections. We are a music festival/subculture/artistic clothing brand of over 20 years. We have primarily sold at events and festivals, and as Covid reduces we are returning. Personality: Responsible Social Butterfly! Because you will be responsible for setting up your racks, accounting for sales and inventory; responsibility is KEY. You can have an adult beverage, but intoxication while on the clock of any kind is a NO-NO. Ability to follow directions and adapt quickly. The role requires some attention to detail; lack of the detail means missed sales and missing inventory many times. Keeping items organized is key for having your event and those after running smoothly. Outgoing, sales-oriented personality. Ready to style customers without judgment of age, color, gender or creed. Ready to smile and draw people into your area. Duties: Pick up inventory and supplies, confirm correct with manager via text/photos. Have your own running, insured vehicle with space to transport clothing inventory. Plan transportation in advance with appropriate mapping and parking planning- in order to arrive at specified time at event. Set up items in a neat and orderly manner, preferably in a high traffic area. Keep items clean and neat; watch items to prevent theft. Make suggestions to customers for styling- asking them questions about their preferences. Keep track of inventory and sales. Confirm inventory and sales with manager at end of event via text. Neatly re-pack items, and return to storage at assigned time. Bonuses: flat hour rate plus commission on sales. Additional opportunities for personal styling/private party sales at a high commission rate if organized by you; fee paid for parties or events set up by you. Must be well-groomed (teeth, hair, clothing), but outside of that we welcome all sorts of looks- as long as it translates into fun and welcoming! Tattoos, drag, gender bending, crazy hair- you are welcome with us. After scheduled sales period- you would be welcome to stay and enjoy events. Must be 21+. We welcome night owls.
