The U.S. News Best High Schools In PA: How Upper Merion Compares

UPPER MERION, PA — Once again, Upper Merion High School placed among the top schools in Pennsylvania, according to a new ranking from U.S. News and World Report. The school ranked 66th overall in the state in the latest ranking, which compares more than 17,800 public high schools nationwide. Nearby, other high ranking Montgomery County schools included Wissahickon at 13th, Spring-Ford 31st, Upper Dublin 38th, and Plymouth-Whitemarsh 46th. The top 600 included 15 schools from across Pennsylvania. Just two cracked the top 50. The top-ranked Pennsylvania school was Philadelphia's Julia Masterman Academy, coming in at 18th overall. It was followed by Downingtown STEM at 34th; these were the only schools that cracked the top 200 nationwide.
