All charges are accusations and do not signify guilt. April 23: Grand larceny (fourth-degree) was reported on Barkley Lane in Nesconset from April 22 at 6:20 p.m. A man lost his wallet, and the person who found it used his credit cards, police said.April 21: Grand larceny (fourth-degree) was reported on Carnegie Drive in St. James from April 20 at 7 p.m. A wallet was stolen from an unlocked 2019 Subaru, police said.April 20: Grand larceny (third-degree) was reported on Chelsea Drive in Nesconset from April 19 at 8 a.m. A person was scammed out of more than $15,000 when they were told to send money regarding their computer warranty, police said.April 19: Burglary (second-degree) was reported on Parsnip Pond Road in Lake Grove from April 17 at 2 p.m. An iPad was stolen from a home after the door was left unlocked, police said.April 19: Assault (second-degree) was reported on Jericho Turnpike in Smithtown at 8 p.m. An employee of Pit Stop Services Station was assaulted in the parking lot by two male customers, police said. The employee was treated at St. Catherine's Hospital.
