Forden's is hiring a fireplace installer for prefab, gas, wood & electric fireplaces, stoves and inserts. This is an entry level position, no experience required however a willingness to be trained in this specialized field is necessary. We are looking for someone willing to learn and grow in the position. Forden's offers vacation and sick days after probationary period. Health insurance is available as well with a portion paid by Forden's & the remaining by the employee - the percentages depend on length of service, starting with Forden's paying 60%, then 80% after a year. Employee discount available on bbq's, gas logs, fireplaces & stoves. • Mechanical ability with knowledge of hand tools • Problem solving skills • Verbal & written communication skills, ability to complete & return paperwork daily • Able to take direction and work as a team member • Reliable transportation needed for this Monday-Friday 7:30-4:00 full-time position • Physically able to lift 60-100 lbs, work on ladders, roofs and heights up to 45 feet • Perform physical activity such as bending, stooping, reaching, climbing into small areas • Willing to work & get along with others • Maintain & practice safety standards • Valid Driver's License and clean driving record • Must not be afraid of working at heights Forden's is a family-owned local company that has been in business for over 80 years. We expect our fireplace installers to be honest and hard working. We take pride in our reputation which is very good in the community and surrounding areas. Many of our employees, including fireplace installers, are long term employees. We are looking for fireplace installers who are interested in being trained and learning the industry. Full-time with some overtime.
