Indian Village Tennis Club is seeking a caretaker/maintenance person that will tend to the tennis courts and clubhouse during the upcoming 2021 season. Season starts May 1st and runs thru Nov 15th. Duties and hours listed below. Roles and Responsibilities Clubhouse (in AM) -Wash, dry, fold towels and place in locker rooms -Clean the kitchen, if necessary -Pick up glasses and clean the bar area -Remove bottles and cans from bar area. Separate and place in plastic bags near back door -Clean the clubhouse, vacuum -Clean the bathrooms -Mop all the tile flooring in the bathrooms and bar and kitchen -Align tables and adjust light fixtures prior to all events, as required -Bag all the linens after parties, as required -Bag trash from kitchen, bar, porch and courts and put in receptacle in alley. -Yard waste placed on street on alternating Fridays -Miscellaneous tasks to be performed as necessary Porch/Garden (in AM) -Blow off porch -Wipe off all porch tables and chairs -Fill water jug -Cut the lawn in garden and Coe Street lot (weekly or one day prior to an event) -Fertilize lawn and garden, per request -Sweep off roof and clean gutters (monthly throughout season) Courts (In AM and PM) -Roll courts -2x per day initially, reducing frequency as courts become more solid -Remove standing water -Sweep courts -Sweep lines -Brush the grass strip by the garage in the morning to knock off precipitation -Run sprinklers per schedule. Judgment call per weather conditions -Replace sprinklers (Spring) -Remove and store sprinklers in oil, tag and put in bag for winter (Fall) Qualifications and Skills -Must be 21 or over -Own mode of transport Schedule and Hours: Morning: 6:30 AM - 9:30 AM Monday - Sunday 3 hours/day x 7 days = 21 hours Afternoon: 2:00 PM - 3:00 PM Monday - Sunday 1 hours/day x 7 days = 7 hours Total hours: 28 hours (approx)
