The Tre’dish Master Chef Program: Tre’dish is searching for qualified chef candidates to curate a unique culinary experience in Riverside County, Corona County & Moreno Valley - as part of Tre’dish Master Chef Program. Selected Master Chefs will have the opportunity to collaborate with Tre’dish to create a new exciting food scene that reflects the vibrant and diverse flavors of their community. As a Tre’dish Master Chef, you will be eligible to receive up to $1,600 in monthly compensation in addition to food revenue earned through your MEHKO. ** Under the Program, Tre’dish Master Chefs: Work with Tre’dish to apply for and receive your MEHKO permit Commit to cooking 3 nights a week under the Riverside County, CA MEHKO Program Collaborate with Tre’dish to create specialized and elevated menu options for take-out meals that only you produce Provide chef data and feedback to Tre’dish to implement health and safety protocols and to help optimize and improve chef and user experience Support Tre’dish’s social media and promotional campaigns by regularly providing photo and video content about you, your food, and your experience as a chef Participate in live events either in-person or virtually showing your personality and culinary skill (approximately 2-3 hours per month) Qualified Chefs will be selected based on the following 6 categories Culinary Experience – Candidates with a variety of culinary experience including self-taught are encouraged to apply Food Uniqueness and Quality – Candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to create unique menu options with elevated taste and flavor profiles. Food diversity is strongly encouraged Presentation – Candidates should possess strong plating and personal presentation skills Engagement – Commitment to cooking and brand development for the chef and Tre’dish is required Personality – Candidates who exhibit openness about themselves and their food are strongly preferred Technical/ Food Safety Knowledge – Candidates should possess moderate to strong understanding of food safety protocols and a willingness to learn and improve Requirements: Receive a Riverside County MEHKO Permit within 45 days of Program acceptance. Receive Food Manager’s Certificate Pass background check with ID verification Application Process: Upon acceptance of your application, we will request the following: Applicants are encouraged to apply providing the following materials: Photo submissions of your food A brief essay that includes a description of yourself, culinary style, inspiration, and why they would like to be accepted to this program and/or Video submission showing your chef style and personality – Maximum 2 minutes (optional but strongly encouraged – posted on YouTube/Google Drive privately and link shared with Tre’dish.) Permitted* MEHKOs can sell up to $50,000 worth of meals annually by following a few simple steps.
