ISO Small-medium sized dog

Hi! I am in search of my new best friend :-) I would prefer he or she to be small-medium size (if I can’t pick them up they’re too big) I’d prefer no younger than 1 and no older than 7. MUST get along with cats. (That means no chasing or nipping or barking at them) I have two amazing kitties who love dogs, one of them loves playing with dogs. There are many dogs within my family and friend group so they need to be socialized with other animals. I do not want an aggressive dog. Must be able to be left alone for a few hours at a time without tearing up the house or barking the whole time. He/she will not be left home everyday, I get plenty of time off:-) I drive a lot so I hope he or she enjoys car rides:-) I have experience with several different breeds small-large size But a small-medium size will work best for me at this time in my life. I am willing to pay a reasonable rehoming fee if you need it to feel assured that I can properly care for the dog.
