MTGL, Inc. is a construction materials testing and special inspection firm, seeking a lab technician for our San Diego laboratory location. The preferred candidate must have good verbal and written communication skills, must be a self-starter and highly motivated. Typical Duties Include: • Construction materials testing. Concrete, asphalt, soils, rebar. Willing to train. • Sample inventory management. • General area clean up • Equipment maintenance Position Requirements: • Clean driving record for the past 3 years • Ability to work variable hours • Moderate lifting required (25+ lbs) • Be mechanically inclined Additional Criteria: • Age: 21+ to drive company vehicle. • Clean driving record. Candidates must pass a background check and provide a current Department of Motor Vehicles printout of their driving record for the past 3 years prior to employment.
