Variety of rescued domestic ducks in need of forever homes. These poor creatures have suffered abandonment, starvation, and a multitude of injuries from which they are recovering. Ducks make wonderful backyard or pasture pets. They are intelligent, emotional creatures, quite entertaining, and are avid exterminators. They require a securely fenced yard, food, water, shade, and night enclosure if in a high predation area. Grassy ground or straw/hay bedding a plus, as they do have delicate feet. Breeds available include Pekin, Muscovy, Swedish black & blue, Rouen, Campbell, Buff, Magpie, Runner, and Cayuga. Birds that are bonded will be placed out accordingly. If you have space in your heart and home to offer refuge to some of these deserving fowl, please respond with a description of the physical environment, and what other critters you have present to ensure compatibility. An adoption fee (varies depending on breed & gender) applies to help offset rescue, rehabilitation, and transport expenses incurred. Foster homes are also needed to accommodate those still in need of recovery time or until permanent placement can be found. Please provide a contact number for response.
