Seeking drums/percussion for a weird, dynamic, avant- jazz, improv thing I’m seeking a drummer with a taste for the odd. I’d love to work on some crazy music, and I don’t seem to do it well without a good drummer/percussionist to bounce ideas off of… I have been listening to a lot of Nels Cline lately (the noisy stuff and the more atmospheric stuff), some Susie Ibarra, Milford Graves, Sonny Sharrock, some Peter Brötzmann. I’m thinking texture, atmospheric sounds, dynamics, anything from a whisper to some major bombast. If any of this sounds interesting to you, let me know.
