Neu Appliances (like the word new) is the #1 Discount Appliance Outlet and we're looking to fill our Delivery Team job opening. You'll be on our delivery trucks delivering and installing appliances inside customers’ homes. You don’t need any experience, we’ll show you everything. We operate with 2-man delivery teams so you’ll be with another team member the whole way as you learn our procedures, policies, and workflows. We need people who can think on their feet, are great communicators, and can get along with all types of co-workers. We’re looking for a well-groomed, respectful, professional team player whose main focus is the customer’s needs. We are a young high-energy bunch looking for like-minded individuals who’ll meld with our positive and professional customer service. Attention: - This is not a remote position. You’ll be working with teams who go inside customers’ homes. - Job Location: 804 Mcphaul St. Austin, TX 78758. - Right now the training schedule is 6 days a week: Mon-Sat 8-4. Yes, we pay overtime. - After you’re trained we’ll find a 40-hour schedule for the team. Must be flexible and must be able to work weekends. - Due to the sensitive matter of routinely entering customer's homes, we do a background check on every candidate. More aspects of our Delivery and Installation Team: - $13.50/Hour starting pay - Reviews every 6 months with potential raises each review - Tips are ok, we do not claim - Additional customer service bonuses ($) - Weekly Pay (Pay every Friday AM) - Flexible availability; your schedule may change due to company needs - Current/valid Driver's License and maintain valid DL throughout employment - Good driving record and maintain good driving record throughout employment - Able to talk with customers in a kind professional manner - Able to effectively devise routes for optimal delivery production (logistics) - Maintain a punctual and optimistic work ethic - Maintain an organized workspace (and work vehicles) - Thrive in a fast-paced team-oriented atmosphere - Must be able to lift 60 lbs. by hand and 200+ lbs. by dolly daily - Must be able to work weekends - No CDL needed
