We are looking for Entry Level Laborer(s) FSLA Classification: Non-Exempt Essential Functions/Responsibilities: • Assist as required in all manual labor aspects of the project. • Clears and prepares work areas. • Spotter to heavy equipment operators. • Light painting as needed. • Digging trenches; Backfill trenches when necessary. • Load and unload equipment and materials. • Assist crew members in manual labor and shovel work, and install concrete. • Maintain a clean job site- pick up tools and equipment and secure job site each day to eliminate potential hazards. • Ability to lift heavy objects 50lbs. on a regular basis. • Must have knowledge of proper use and safety of equipment, tools, materials and supplies used in construction. • Maintain proper care of equipment • Follow direction of the Superintendent/General Superintendent with regards to daily production schedule and activities Qualifications: • 0-1 years of construction experience • Ability to lift heavy objects 50+ lbs. • Walking/Standing/Bending for long periods of time • Perform strenuous physical labor in outdoor elements • Must be able to work weekends and/or overtime when needed • Must be able to speak, read, and write in English • Required to have valid Driver’s License • Required to pass pre-employment drug test/physical/background check Disclaimer: The information in this job description indicates the general nature and level of work to be performed.
