Cart-Away Concrete Systems is seeking a tractor and batch plant operator for a new Cart-Away Supply yard in Salem Oregon. Cart-Away Supply is a landscape material yard and short-load concrete provider. Customers come to us to buy mulch, soil, compost, stone, sand, and ready-mix concrete. Not only will we fill customer trucks and trailers with the material but we are unique in the market by offering our customers access to our trailers. They can take a dump trailer or concrete trailer to the job site and back. The equipment operator will run the yard, loading customers with building materials utilizing a center articulating loader and a concrete batch plant. This individual will interact frequently with customers answering their questions and assisting them with their purchases. Requirements: A self-starter who thrives on seeing what needs to get done and getting the job done quickly and safely. Prior experience in Landscaping Production and Retail Sales environment preferred. Prior experience operating tractors, skid steers, forklifts, or loaders. They should have experience in the landscape, nursery, concrete, or construction industry. Monitors inventory levels and ensures there is enough product to service customer needs. Ensures all equipment is functioning appropriately. Comfortable working outside in all types of weather. Opens and closes the business each day and according to work schedule negotiated at hiring.
