Whether you have years of experience installing solar, or are just starting a new career in the rapidly growing solar industry, we are expanding and looking to add a good person to our team. At IPS you will gain experience with the best available equipment, methods of installation, and receive ongoing training. IPS started in Bozeman 25 years ago and we have since grown into the largest solar power system company in the area with offices in the Boulder/Denver area as well as Beverley, Massachusetts. Our engineers, electricians, installers, and support staff all work together to provide superior performing power systems from our smallest systems to our largest multi megawatt installations. As a member of our Bozeman team, you will primarily assist with power system installations for homes and businesses near Bozeman with some limited overnight travel to installations in Montana. Responsibilities Installation of equipment for ground or roof mounted solar power system installations Assemble racking and solar array Attention to safe and efficient installations Installation of backup and off grid power system components Project clean up including client site and installation vehicle Qualifications A strong team player with the ability to work independently as needed. Ability to drive a vehicle during the normal course of business. Must maintain a clean driving record with the ability to pass a driving background check. Building trade experience a plus Proven attention to detail Good interpersonal and communication skills NABCEP Certification preferred Physical Requirements: Ability to transport materials and equipment to complete assigned job tasks (up to 50 pounds frequently and up to 100 pounds with assistance) Ability to work safely in a warehouse environment Ability to operate office equipment including computers Ability to interact with co-workers and participate in meetings Ability to work on rooftops with various angles and surfaces Ability to work in outdoor weather conditions Our focus is on quality installations that are built to last and outperform those installed by our competition.
