LABORER / SUPPORT WORKER Fireplace Installer compensation: $15 - 20$ Depending on experience employment type: full-time Mass Fireplace Designs, is now hiring fireplace installers. Mass Fireplace Designs has been in business since 2017, and has an incredible reputation for quality service and installation, The position open is for experienced or non-experienced fireplace installers. Non- experienced installers with good crossover mechanical / carpentry skills is a plus. We will put non-experienced trainees through apprenticeship training by experienced installers to help develop the skills necessary to become a journeyman installer. The ideal candidate will have: • Experience in construction and fireplace installation • Great customer service skills • Positive attitude, along with being a team player Description of Essential job functions for Fireplace installation and service technicians: • Safely climb and work off of ladders. • Safely use tools for installation of fireplaces and equipment • Safely drive company vehicle to and from jobsites. • Unload and load materials on and off of trucks. Materials may weigh up to 85 lbs. and greater than 100 lbs. on occasion. • Communicate and orientate new customers with fireplace and accessory functions Physical requirements include: • All types of movement while installing or carrying fireplaces to and from the jobsite. • Unload and load materials on and off of trucks. Materials may weigh up to 85 lbs. and greater than 100 lbs. on occasion. • Installation and service of steel fireplaces. Materials are to be installed in the field on jobsites and customer locations. Drilling, cutting, carpentry, framing, and installation of components to make up working fireplaces and components. We do a pre-employment drug screening, and physical. • Must have a safe and incident free driving record. A three year DOL driving record must accompany your application. • Spanish ok • Must have experience using hand and power tools, and installation equipment. • Must be able to lift 65 to 85 lbs. regularly throughout an 8 hour workday. • Must be well organized with clean work habits. • Must have good references and contacts from previous or current job. • Must be punctual and reliable.
