Join us! We're group of seasoned musicians who love playing swing, blues, and rock. Building on our collective many years' experience in a variety of different bands and 5 years together in our current line-up, we get an excellent response at every gig we play. Currently we have two lead vocalists- one also plays both guitar and keyboards, as well as a lead guitarist, and a super solid drums and bass rhythm section. We're looking for a (2nd) keyboard player to add to the mix who can handle playing the horn lines in some of our swing material as well as covering the essential piano, organ and strings or synth sounds. Bonus points if you can handle singing harmony background vocals at the same time but not a requirement. Our material covers a lot of swing, classic rock, R&B and blues along with some newer pop music gems. Note- our goal is not a full-time booked every weekend type of gig situation as we all have regular day jobs. But we love music, we love playing, and we love doing that in front of an audience, so hopefully, you'll fit into this category. And hopefully, all of the places we used to play at prior to the pandemic will be opening up again soon... We normally rehearse once a week in a safe, secure warehouse location in downtown Oakland, usually on Wednesday nights. All of us are vaccinated at this point, so no worries on that side of things.
