Looking to see if there is interest in forming a Southern Gospel group/band. I am former music educator and church music director (over 20 years). I have experience in this genre and would like to organize something for the Lubbock area. I am looking for vocalists, lead guitar, keyboard, fiddle/violin, banjo, bass and percussion (or whatever combination I can get). Ability to play by ear and improvise would be very helpful. We do have a catalog of music as well. I play rhythm guitar and mandolin. Also have a harmonica player and auxiliary percussion. We have some sound equipment, amps, mics, stands, etc. If this ends up working, I have many church contacts to get bookings. Any offering $ will be divided among the group.
