Computer Upgrade King, a custom computer company, is seeking a full time Warehouse Assistant to join our team. This is an entry level position supporting production operations in a fast pace environment providing assistants to our Shipping, Fulfilled by Amazon and Inventory/Receiving Departments. What you’ll do: -Packaging and processing packages for shipment through various carriers -Examine outgoing shipments to ensure specifications are met -Assist with the receiving and unloading of goods by hand or by use of equipment such as hand truck, dolly, pallet jack, etc. -Maintain interior and exterior of the warehouse removing dust, debris, and trash and organized on a daily basis You’ll love this job if you’re: -A team player -A go getter; willing to do what is asked of you to help your department succeed -A fast worker; able to move from one task to another with ease What you’ll need: -High School Diplomas or Equivalent -Ability to read and write and follow verbal instructions in English -Simple math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division) -Basic knowledge of computer hardware and parts is preferred -Organizational and Time Management skills -OSHA approved steel-toed boots -To attain company forklift certification within the first 30 days -Ability to frequently lift and/or move items over 50 pounds -1-2 years previous warehouse experience preferred Brief Summary of Benefits: The following benefits are available on the 1st of the month after 60 days of employment: -Health, Vision, and Dental Insurance -Company Paid Group Life Insurance -Company Paid Long Term Disability -Optional Short-Term Disability -Optional Aflac Coverage After 90 days: -Paid Holidays -Paid Vacations -Paid Sick Leave -Matching 401K up to 4%, after 1 year of service -Holiday Parties and special events -Casual dress and work environment Computer Upgrade King is Equal Employment Opportunity Employer.
