Description
Position involves visiting customer locations during the evening to inspect and report on exterior lighting. Employee must possess independence, the ability to provide detailed written descriptions, and strong organizational and time management skills. This is part-time work, approximately 12 to 15 hours a month. The territory is primarily the Providence Rhode Island and south eastern Massachusetts areas, including parts of the cape.
Qualifications: High school diploma, Valid driver’s license
Major Tasks and Responsibilities:
• Inspect and report to Operations / Scheduling Coordinator on exterior lighting at customer locations on a monthly basis;
• Accurately identify lighting outages with marking tape and stickers;
• Clearly describe lighting outages in written format using standardized wording and utilizing maps and diagrams;
• Contacting office when emergency situations are noticed at a customer location;
• Accurately record work and travel time, and mileage;
• Submit findings electronically through a phone or tablet on a timely basis in order to ensure proper work flow;
• Travel to inspection sites and perform inspections during non-daylight hours;
• Supervised by the Operations / Scheduling Coordinator.
