A local Underground Utility Contractor called Communication Construction and Engineering is hiring new Technicians for our Denver, CO location. As a Technician you will work directly with other employees learning stuff like: How to operate tools and equipment How to load and tow on trailers safely, including doing DVIRs How underground utility construction works How to be safe on a construction site An Ideal Candidate would: Have a clean driving record with current Drivers License Be drug free and able to pass a drug test Be a citizen of the USA Be punctual Willing to work in all weather types Willing to ask for help Be adaptable Be a quick-learner Technicians will be working as part of either Drill Crews or Trenching Crews. Our Drill Crews use directional drills to bore pipes underground. As part of a Drill Crew you will be placing HHs, potholing utilities, doing surface restoration, building concrete rings, and helping load drill rod as needed. As part of a Trenching Crew you will be working with Equipment Operators as a spotter, digging trenches, installing conduit in trenches, and placing caissons. Technicians will be driving company box vans or pickups, often with trailers. There are plenty of growth opportunities for a Technician to advance into and training may be provided to the right candidate. This position is full-time and benefits are available after 90 days.
