We are a growing car wash door manufacturing company looking for motivated, responsible individuals to service our doors in the field. Car wash doors are very similar to residential garage doors, so if you have experience working on garage doors or overhead doors we would like to talk to you. We provide a company vehicle, all tools and company cell phone. This job is straight hourly pay plus overtime - no commission sales. We offer a very laid back environment - we are privately owned company. We also offer full benefits - medical, dental, vision, 401k, HSA, and we pay for 100% for the employee. Job function is two-fold: (1) preventative maintenance - you would be driving to the site and inspecting the doors, replacing any part that is worn or failed; (2) repair service calls - you drive to the site and fix whatever may be wrong, from a broken part, to replacing the door panel, or possibly adjusting a photo eye. Our customers are major corporations and they rely on us to maintain the doors to the car wash. This is critical in the winter to prevent the equipment from freezing. This means that in the winter, the service techs WILL see overtime hours (very possibly 20 OT hours a week). We offer a very laid back, casual work environment, but you MUST be responsible enough to work when we need you. Our field techs are on call every other week, which means there can be times you are called out later in the evening, or on weekends due to our response time guarantees to our customers, so if that's a problem do not reply. We are looking for people with general mechanical experience (electrical knowledge is a plus), and particularly experience working on garage or overhead doors (door install experience is a plus also). However, if you have no experience but are mechanically inclined you may be right for the position. We will provide full training. ** A positive attitude and strong work ethic are a MUST for this position**. There WILL be overtime. There WILL be days you are called out after hours. Also, you must be able to work on your own schedule without someone standing over your shoulder every 5 minutes.
