Dock Laborer Job Description This position is responsible for assisting the warehouse personnel by expediting materials for inbounds/outbounds and supporting, receiving, storing and distributing of products within a cold storage facility. Duties · Clean warehouse with hand brooms, power scrubbers, sweepers and vacuum cleaners to meet company standards · Keep inside dock areas free of accumulated dust and debris · Work in (0F to -5F) degree warehouse environment · Adjust and perform changing job duties, tasks, and functions · Mark materials with identifying information · Record amounts of materials or items received or distributed · Count items for distribution · Compile tickets from customer specifications · Help maintain inventory records by making sure transfers and changes are recorded accurately · Perform other duties as assigned by the lead and/or supervisor. Qualifications · Must have high school education or GED · Must have be able to communicate effectively both in written and oral form · Must be able to lift or move materials and/or objects up to 75 lbs · Must be able to stand, kneel or crouch · Must be able to work independently · Ability to work in a fast paced environment · Ability to become forklift certified · Ability to accommodate all shifts (day, swing, grave) and overtime/weekends if needed Physical Demands · Must be able to stand, kneel or crouch · Must be able to lift or move materials and/or objects up to 75 lbs. · Have good hand-eye coordination Pay: $16.00 to $17.00 per hour Apply today by submitting a profile at www.manpower.com and then call/text (509) 735-7444 or (509) 221-9671.
