Mandy is an almost 2 year old Main Coon. She is not huge, but an average cat size though. Pros: •She craves your attention •Greets you when you come home •Loves to snuggle and play •Will sleep next to/on top of you all night •Has all of her claws (has never scratched furniture •Fixed •Is great with kids- has never scratched or bitten my 8 year old or 10 month old. She will just growl and run away if she doesn't like something Cons. •Long haired (sheds and has dander) •Can be the only cat/dog in the home (she will mark her territory and claw the other cat/dog) •Not a bad thing but she prefers a covered litter box (pees straight back sometimes. She was re homed once and had zero problems with marking once she was an only cat again (did pee on the car ride home). The person who took her found out he had a severe cat allergy and had to bring her back. Last fall we bought our house from a family member who is moving to Arizona and he unfortunately could not take her with. We told him she could stay with the house. We moved in with our two cats and it has been WWIII ever sense! It's not fair to any of the cats to keep trying (it's been 8 months) and my loyalty needs to be with my previous cats. Honestly Mandy is my favorite though! I will give you a zip lock bag of her food. She has always had a scratching board and has never scratched furniture so I'd suggest getting her a scratching board too. I will not let her go to someone who will have her de clawed. She is the best cat ever if you are looking for a friendly cat who will actually interact with you!
