Inland Engineering Services (IES) is seeking a Field Surveyor for our Camarillo Office. As a full-time Field Surveyor with our Camarillo Office you will be expected to complete a variety of tasks efficiently and accurately after your completed training. These tasks include, but are not limited to: *Understanding Coax and Fiber system prints *Outside Plant/Inside Plant Operations *Cable Locating *Opening Vaults/Manholes (Being able to move up to 50 lbs) *Data Entry in Customer Specific Spreadsheets and websites *Drawing Routes on system prints in detail (Clear and legible handwriting is a must) *Use of GPS/Google Maps to route locations *Utility/Substructure marking (USA - DigAlert) As your skills and experience grow in the company, you may be required to take on additional tasks. Skills required: *Comprehension of Microsoft Office Suite (365) *Reading Comprehension *Critical Thinking and Analytical skills *Basic Math Skills *Be able to Multitask in a fast paced environment *Creative *Organized *Attention to Detail Preferred but not required: *Bi-lingual (Spanish & English) *Construction Experience *Telecommunication Experience *Installation Experience *Permit/City Operations Experience $16.00 - $19.00/hr depending on skills and experience.
