Blending Operators $18/hr Night Shift Only earns an extra $1/hr for work from 10PM - 6:30AM Night Shift: Thu - Sat, every other Wed 6pm - 630am Day Shift: 6am - 6:30pm Thu - Sat + every other Weds Requirements Resume Interview Ability to read, write and speak basic English and math Must be able to pass a background requirement (will be requested again upon hire) Must be able to pass a drug screen (retesting upon hire) Job Shadow/Working Interview 3 Day Orientation Responsibilities The Blending Operator will serve multiple roles within the department, related to material handling and blending. Operators will first be trained within the Material Handler (Blending Operator I) role, and then transition into full blending operation (Blending Operator II) as their training progresses and they familiarize themselves with the standards and procedures of the department. While material handling, operators will be trained on PIT (Powered Industrial Truck) equipment and be responsible for organizing, stacking, pulling, and maintaining inventory of raw materials and finished goods, as well as assembling orders according to Material Issue Slips. In the blending role, Blending Operators will be responsible for learning about the various raw materials at HWP and how they interact in different blends, as well as different screening/ dispensing needs of said materials. Blending Operators in all roles will perform machine operation functions in multiple work locations in support of HWP production goals. This is a non exempt job that reports to the Blending/ Encapsulation Supervisor. Specific tasks are clearly defined by work instructions for each operation in the job rotation. Qualifications Forklift exp. a MUST Ability to lift up to 55 pounds Ability to stand all shifts and keep up in a fast-paced environment Possess a sense of urgency High manual dexterity is a MUST Other skills and knowledge that is preferred: One to three years’ experience in a manufacturing environment preferred (pharmaceutical, nutraceutical, electronic, chemical, cosmetics and food) Weight settings, Line Speed, Shift Reporting and Documentation, Line Clean Up and Equipment Changeovers, Equipment Breakdown and Re-Assemble Experience with GMP’s, SOP’s and PPE Upon Hire Benefits AFTER 90 DAYS OF HIRE DATE, temp hours DO NOT COUNT Performance-based reviews 5% Annual bonus (granted per company goals) Please send resume to [email protected]
