Live Local Organic is an Aquaponics farm dedicated to delivering high-quality, local, organic produce to the world. Currently Seeking: Production Specialist 7am -- 4pm, Monday-Friday $13.50/hour to start Are you interested in learning about Aquaponics and local, sustainable farming? Are you easy to work with and coachable? We are Live Local Organic, a small start-up in Southeast Portland (Sellwood area), and we are seeking a motivated, reliable, and detail oriented Production Specialist to start immediately. Job Duties include:  Planting and Transferring Starts  Harvesting and Packaging Produce  Delivering Produce to grocery stores in company vehicles  Maintaining excellent relationships with customers  Other duties as assigned Requirements:  Current and valid driver's license  Ability to stand for 8 hours per day  Ability to bend and reach grow beds that stand 4 feet high  Ability to lift up to 40 lbs  Ability to deliver produce to grocery stores and stock shelves  Must be reliable, punctual, and comfortable starting work as early as 6:00 am Preferred: -Experience farming, or experience with commercial Aquaponics are encouraged to apply -Experience gardening and experience making deliveries is a plus -Multi lingual applicants are encouraged to apply This position has great opportunities for advancement as well as overtime pay.
