Description: The Foreman directs and manages all on-site operations including crew members, subcontractors, equipment, and site safety. Responsible for enforcing company’s direction, policies, procedures, safety standards, while meting construction deadlines. This position is also an operator and must have skills necessary to operate all equipment on the job site. Paving Type: Coast focuses on non-road paving. Our primary clients include commercial and industrial centers, apartment complexes, pathways, private roads, and roads within HOA properties. Our portfolio of work has a mixture of both market and prevailing wage Duties & Responsibilities • Supervise the paving crew with focus on safety, quality, and profitability • Maintain constant communication with the crew, plants and trucks • Constantly communicate with the management team • Possess the ability to address issues and resolve them in a timely manner • Possess a thorough knowledge of all positions within the paving crew Qualifications: • Team leader with strong leadership skills • Works well under pressure • Productive team player and self-starter • Strong communication skills Experience: 3-5+ Years Asphalt Foreman experience Requirements: Must have a Valid Drivers License and be insurable for company auto insurance plan.
