Fleet Mechanic Prestonwood Landscape SVCS is an established and growing landscape company in DFW and San Antonio. Our fleet consists of gas and diesel trucks. We have Isuzu NPRs, Chevy 1500s, 2500s, 3500s, Nissan NV 1500s, many other assorted trucks and trailers. We are looking for someone that has strong communication skills, punctual, dependable capable of out of the box thinking. This is a great job for a student of a mechanic program looking to get hours for a ASE certification and experience on a wide variety of vehicles. Qualifications: 1. Basic mechanical knowledge 2. Basic welding and fabrication knowledge 3. Own tools 4. Dependable and attention to detail 5. Strong communication over phone and email 6. Must have ASE certification 7. Bilingual preferred 8. Ability to work evening shift from 3 pm - 12 am – this is not negotiable, please do not apply if cannot work these hours Job Duties: 1. Preventative maintenance checks of all trucks and trailer including but not limited to wipers, fluids, lights, tires etc 2. Advanced diagnostic ability 3. Electrical diagnosis and repair 4. Repair and/or replace parts as needed on trucks and trailers in fleet 5. Welding and light fabrication 6. Purchase all necessary parts staying within budget 7.
