Michigan Basements is hiring multiple general laborers/contractors to be Waterproofing Technicians! Our growing company specializes in full basement waterproofing, foundation repair, and crawlspace encapsulation – within the interior of the home. These positions are full-time and long-term.
If you like demolition work, this job is for you! Experience in the basement waterproofing field is a plus, but not required. We offer professional training, if you don’t already acquire the knowledge of basement waterproofing. Any construction, plumbing or concrete experience preferred, but not required.
COMPANY EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENTS:
· Candidates must be at least 18 years of age.
· Possess a valid driver's license, with reliable transportation to and from work/job site.
· Must pass a criminal background check.
· The physical strength to repetitively lift fifty (50) pounds as well as move items of various weights and sizes; the ability to run heavy equipment, with proper training.
· Punctuality and a good work ethic.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
· Knowledge of construction procedures, equipment and safety guidelines.
· The ability to communicate with each other and our customers effectively.
· High school diploma and/or a diploma in a skilled trade, required.
· Can be adaptable/flexible – hours may exceed 40 hours week (over-time would be given)
· High stress tolerance – this person to thrive in a high-pressured environment
