Description

good worker needed hello, I am cleaning up an old farm and need some help. A good fit would be someone comfortable working with me, but also okay being unsupervised much of the time. You should have experience working outside doing physical labor. Hopefully you own boots, gloves and a raincoat. This would be for 2-4 weeks, with some flexibility in scheduling. Definitely need some raking and mowing done. Many of the tasks are simply grunt work, separating, loading piles of old car parts, lumber and the like. Help moving vehicles and equipment would be part of it. If you were up for some painting, splitting /stacking firewood and the like that would be helpful. None of the work is gross or demands huge physical strength but it does require you are in good enough shape to work on your feet, lift and carry throughout the day. Regardless of your skillset, this is my home, so only kind, honest non-smokers need apply. I expect to get 10-20 responses, so most likely will ignore the one liners, sorry. Please send at least a few details on experience and availability. Finally, this does not seem to be the job for someone from far away, so if you are further than an hour, it probably doesn't make sense. There is a nice hilltop campsite nearby and for just the right person, I would consider letting you stay on site. By right person (and I bet you know who you are) I mean someone who has extensive outdoor experience (Youth Conversation Corp, NPS. Wildlands or the like) and would genuinely be comfortable and enjoy the opportunity to spend some time off the grid. IF you were this type of person AND if this project went well I might be able to create a few months of hard farm and forest type work. Again, this is only an option for someone who really has the interest and skillset to enjoy it, you know, just the right person! That's about all, wait Covide deniers, people with their faces stuck in their phones and those who are simply not compassionate humans, this probably won't be a comfortable place for you to be. stay safe!
