Field Technician To Apply: Location: Phoenix, AZ Tower Engineering Professionals is seeking a full-time employee for a Field Technician, in our Phoenix, AZ location. Responsibilities: Field Duties (70- 80% of work time): Must be able to travel up to five days a week. Must have a labor intensive attitude and be capable of climbing towers, water tanks or rooftops. Perform inspections, tower mappings and post construction inspections on telecommunications towers. Must have the physical ability and the willingness to scan, probe, dig and drill to obtain the foundation dimensions and steel reinforcement on guyed, SST and monopole towers. Provide superior customer service while ensuring all essential job functions are performed in a timely, efficient, accurate, and safe manner. Adhere to all company and industry standard/regulations (OSHA, COMTRAIN, etc.) Office Duties (20- 30% of work time): Prepare drawings of field sketches using AutoCAD. Read and interpret structural and architectural drawings, specifications, and design requirements related to telecommunications, commercial, residential, and light industrial applications. Conduct due diligence for multiple projects prior to field work. Review peer work product. Qualifications: 1 year general construction experience preferred; some cell tower industry experience highly preferred. Experience in AutoCAD or equivalent drawing software preferred. Strong knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite. Good communication and interpersonal skills; self-starter, team player, and results oriented.
