Looking for creative musicians to play really alturnative music. Musician seeks Nerds, geeks, dorks, whimps and other outcasts to make some good and maybe goofy music. Influences: PDQ Bach, Frank Zappa, Spinal Tap, Atomic Rooster, Louie Jordan, Spike Jones, and others. Would be great if you play and instrument. ANY instrument, and could sing some ok? So do you play Fart stick, acordian, bagpipes, Crumbhorn, Serpant, or Synthisizer, percussion, or almost anything? And do you have any real music training, that would help. My experience: I have played with the Philharmonic in NY, with big band swing orchestras, with show pit bands, with rock bands, with folk vocal acoustic trios, and solo. I play an assortment of instruments and sing: Bass guitar, keys, drums/percussion, Trombone, Tuba. AND love to experiments with sounds: like rototoms, synths, French horn, trumpet, Kazoo, congas and sticks. I have a strong background in harmony and want to make some music that is Dynamic (not just loud) exciting, and fun, with a sense of humor. Even thou the sound may at times be goofy I do consider myself a serious musician. So don't call if all you want to do is screw around. Being a musician in this group will not make you cool in any way so why not just enjoy it. If you have like ideas and this sounds like a great idea to you please contact me.
