Job Description *DO NOT APPLY IF YOU DO NOT HAVE A CURRENT DRIVER'S LISCENSE* *CDL PREFFERED and will warrant a higher pay* Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Assist in the loading/unloading of equipment and supplies needed for daily work assignments, setting-up of worksite traffic and safety controls and properly securing work area Place conduit and/or cables in trenches, place anchors, pedestals, vaults, etc. to complete construction tasks When required and if appropriately licensed and authorized, drive or operate construction equipment used on the jobsite to complete daily work assignments Hand dig with shovels, picks, digging bars to expose located utilities, access underground vaults and pedestals, and complete trenches Clean and maintain all company vehicles and equipment assigned for use Other duties as assigned Physical Requirements / Aptitude: Able to work with moderate to loud noise levels Able to move in different positions – crouching, kneeling, reaching, bending and lifting 75 lbs., unassisted Ensure company policies and procedures are being followed-safety Strong mechanical skills Strong troubleshooting skills Basic mathematics aptitude All applicants must be comfortable digging or drilling around existing working underground utilities Must perform duties in a safe and efficient manner Operational Competencies: Ability to finish projects despite obstacles, or redirect when necessary Must be able to communicate effectively-speak English proficiently Basic mathematics aptitude Apply common sense, theory and experience to decision-making Ability to recognize similarities between past and present situations Job Type: Full-time How to apply: Call our office number at (719) 300-7622 or Visit our website at to find a job application that can be filled out and submitted via email via CL Email Relay or found on our website. or You can apply through our job posting on indeed.com
