Looking for a live-in nanny who will be taking care of one child who will be turning 1 in June. He is NOT special needs, he just has a hard time adapting to nap schedules in conventional daycare settings. He sleeps well at home. You will have a NEW private room in a newly constructed home in South Tampa/North Hyde Park area (ETA June 2021). You will have one weekend off, whichever you prefer. You have evenings off as well (sometimes we will go on date nights, like twice a month). One weekday off is negotiable. You will NOT need a car since you will be caring for an infant and parents have 2 cars. If you do have a car, street parking is available for free. You can also park your car in our driveway. You may run personal errands if you have to since dad works from home, in between responsibilities. If you do not have a car, we can always help you out by driving you around for your own needs. We will provide your housing, utilities, and food. There is no need to pay rent, utilities and groceries. The only bills you have to pay is your cellphone line. We provide WiFi. We will give you a tablet for personal browsing, if you do not have a laptop. We do not want you homesick! Your responsibilities: - Caring for one baby boy (and hopefully teach him your native language!) - Cleaning all baby-related things - Optional: Light housework like laundry and cleaning parts of the house - VERY VERY optional: Cooking. Only if you want to. Like if you are sick of my cooking. LOL We prefer: - Bilingual (Spanish or Tagalog, or any other language that is NOT English) - Someone who enjoys this type of work. Someone who enjoys kids. (We prefer to only hire once for the rest of our lives.) - Someone who will treat us like family, since we will treat you like family. (I grew up with a nanny and I still keep in contact with her. She still lives with my parents actually! She became our family housekeeper.) - Someone who will stay with us for at least 3 years. Additional info: - Mom speaks English, Tagalog, Mandarin, Hokkien, some Korean and French. Not Spanish, unfortunately. She wants to learn though. Dad only speaks English. - If we love your job performance, we will give an additional month bonus. - We are flexible in terms of payment in case emergencies happen at home. We know how it goes, sometimes you have to send money home early, if you have family back home. - If we fly home to Asia, you can come with us, if you prefer.
