As a Box Truck driver/mover in our consumer moving and storage vaults business you’re not alone in a truck for hours or days – you’re interacting with customers on a daily basis while staying active moving household goods. Responsibilities Push, pull, lift, carry, pack and move furniture, equipment and boxes as required. Assist Drivers load and unload trucks using a ramp, dock or lift-gate, Perform work with quality, efficiency and safety at all times. Use extreme care not to damage good or facilities during the move Confirm next day work schedule with dispatch daily. Arrive at office, yard or on-site at client location in complete uniform. Obtain work assignment from Moving Coordinator and/or supervisor and stay until work is complete. All other duties as assigned based on business needs. Job Requirements Must have box truck driving experience. Climb/step-up into a truck cab. Lift at least 70 lbs. Ability to move, pack/unload at customer site for extended periods of time. Walk, stand and sit for extended periods of time. Must be at least 21 years old with a valid driver’s license and a good driving record. Demonstrate safe and efficient driving skills. At least one year of route transportation experience is preferred. Attention to detail with Mobile scanning technology. Ability to work at elevated heights Strong customer service and verbal communication skills. Commitment to adhere to the company’s safety and security culture.
