Ensure the safety of the yard, and keep the premises clean and organized. Essential Job Duties: Operate forklift with foot and hand controls. Use forklift to build outgoing orders Use forklift to load completed orders on the trucks maintaining safe procedures and stacking methods. Load and unload trucks. Check built loads to ensure quality and accuracy. Process returns and puts them back in stock. Receive incoming materials and count and record receipt of materials. Stock all material received in its appropriate storage locations. Assist inventory control in counting and organizing materials. Keep the yard and warehouse clean and organized. qualifications Previous forklift experience. Have building material experience. Work with a team. Have a positive, can-do attitude Necessary math skills, ability to identify and measure specialty building products. Physical demands include standing and walking for extended periods, exposure to extreme temperatures, bending or stooping, regularly lifting up to 75 pounds.
