Starting pay is $14.00/hr to $16.00/hr to start depending on experience and skill level - if you can demonstrate you know how to use standing zero turns, and know how to line trim, you will be offered a higher starting rate. That said we are willing to train new applicants and reward learning skills with immediately raises ($0.50/hr each for line trimming, and again for learning the zero turn mowers). Positions available are full-time, on the books, with pay on a weekly basis on Fridays. Full-time employees who remain with us for a full year have the opportunity to earn Paid Time Off (PTO) for the following year. Those who show they are trustworthy, reliable, and hard-working have access to snow plow positions in the late fall/winter, starting at $20.00/hr and scaling upwards depending on experience. Once again, we are willing to train. Currently we have five full-time employees, all having remained with the company between three and six years. We maintain a positive work environment, and seek to reward those who are willing to commit to continued employment. Safety equipment is supplied. Responsibilities: You are responsible for showing up to work at our shop (North Tonawanda, on time during the work week (8AM start). Occasionally we work on Saturday's, but we don't make a habit of it. You will be responsible to cut, trim and maintain lawns provided under a crew boss. Requirements: • Have a cellphone for reliable communication • Have a reliable means of transportation to and from our shop (located in North Tonawanda). Transport to/from site(s) is not necessary • You must be reliable, and be ready and willing to show up to work at 8AM, 5 days a week • Can lift at least a minimum of 50lbs. Can perform tasks of physical labor in seasonal exposure • Experience in the industry is welcomed and rewarded, but is not necessary • Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and grow (we are more than willing to train) • References are welcome • All applicants must be over 18 years of age Compensation/Benefits To start: $14.00/hr base scaling to $16.00/hr depending on demonstrable experience. Those returning after a season have access to earned Paid-Time-Off (PTO). We use Complete Payroll for our payroll services, and offer Direct Deposit.
