Shipping Technician - 2nd Shift

ACM is a rapidly growing manufacturing strategic business unit of ABC Supply and is currently seeking a Shipping Technician. This is a second shift position. The hours will be from 2:15 PM until 10:45 PM. Overtime may be required. In this role, you will pick, pack and load trucks. Having the trucks packed carefully and on time with the correct product is the primary responsibility of this job. The success of the work performed in this position is a critical element of our company's ability to meet the needs of our customers. Specific duties may include: •Driving order pickers, forklifts and other powered equipment •Interpreting alpha-numeric numbers •Completing accurate inventory •Picking and packing •Loading trucks •Performing cycle counts as assigned •Maintaining a clean and organized warehouse and shipping dock •Unloading load bars from empty trailers •Using bar code scanning to ensure loads are correct and do license plating •Troubleshooting to address special challenges •Miscellaneous duties as assigned Qualifications include: •Excellent organization skills and attention to detail •Experience working with distribution software is a plus •Previous warehouse and forklift experience is a plus •Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs Benefits may include: •Health, dental, and vision coverage •Employer paid life insurance •401(k) with generous company match •Flex spending •Paid time off •Paid holidays Equal Opportunity Employer / Drug Free Workplace
